REQUEST TO HAVE YOUR CATSALUT HEALTHCARE CARD SENT TO YOUR HOME (ONLY IN CATALONIA)

If you are registered in the municipal register (empadronamiento) of any municipality in the autonomous community of Catalonia and you are working (either as an employee or self-employed), BarcelonaGlobalService (https://barcelonaglobalservice.com/ ) can request your health card from the Catalan health authority CatSalut online (without you having to go to a health center in person) and extremely quickly: within a few hours, the autonomous body will send you a PDF document by email that will serve as your temporary health card, allowing you to go to a CAP (Primary Care Center – “Centro de Atención Primaria”) and book appointments, specialist tests, and choose a doctor.

The final card (a credit card-sized, rigid blue plastic card) will be sent to your home by post in a sealed envelope approximately 20 days after your request.

In addition to providing you with a health card, we will register you on the “LaMevaSalut” portal (Info: https://catsalut.gencat.cat/ca/serveis-sanitaris/la-meva-salut/ ) which will allow you to manage your appointments, change dates, change your family doctor, keep your treatment plan, medical prescriptions, test results, and communicate directly with your CAP.

We can complete the paperwork for you or any of your family members, provided they meet the requirements.
