Over the years we have detected a strong inefficiency of the AEAT (Tax Agency) in Madrid, especially the delegation of Calle Guzman el Bueno, when studying the files sent with the Model 149 (“Beckham Law”) and, above all, when issuing a resolution.
What normally the tax administration processes, in other provinces, in maximum 10 days (which is the maximum term set by law) in Madrid is not valid, having clients who have been waiting for almost a year, despite the continuous complaints in writing, despite going in person to the AEAT in Madrid to ask for explanations (there are many cases of officials who do not even know what to say, or worse do not know the process of Model 149), etc…
